When people hurt us, we tend to dwell on the pain. We can't stop thinking about the pain that they have caused us no matter how hard we try. We actually allow them to take up residency inside our heads! This can be overwhelming and debilitating to say the least.  Instead of suffering everyday, say to yourself, "I love you, I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you."  This is a miraculous healing prayer that will transform your life and the lives of those around you. 
Ho'oponopono is based on the idea that anything that happens to you (or that you perceive is happening to you) is your own creation and thus, it is entirely your responsibility. One hundred percent. No exceptions!
What has happed is your responsibility AND, it doesn't mean it's your fault - it just means that you are responsible for healing yourself in order to heal whatever or whoever it is that appears to you as a problem.
