In this five week course you will find peace through the art of Vipassana meditation. Through the mind - body connection and by bringing our conscious attention into the body we can develop the ability to release stress and anxiety, raise our immune systems, and start to perceive reality as it truly is. Debbie will guide you through a technique truest to the method the Buddha used to become enlightened.
Session 1: Relief from Compulsive Thinking
Witness ego chatter of the mind, reclaim consciousness, quiet one's internal dialog.
Session 2: Respond Rather than React
Recognize instinctive, predictable behavior patterns and reactions so agitation and negativity won't continue to take you over.
Session 3: Release Resistance; Eradicate Suffering
Resistance is non-acceptance of "what is" happening at the moment.
Become aware of how this form of resistance keeps us stuck in the past and unable to move forward.
Session 4: Present Moment Awareness
Realign with one's true source of pure awareness. Be guided by intuition rather than ego. The Soul lives in the present moment; the ego dwells in past and future.
Session 5: Loving Kindness Meditation
Discover love. forgiveness, and compassion for yourself and others.
